As we all know adding color to our wardrobe is the thing to do this Spring and Summer however if you are not ready to dive into the color-blocking movement just yet there are some simpler ways to add a pop of color to your life. Check out some of my finds:
Lipstick or Gloss
Black Opal Fantasia Plum – I like this color because it is in the purple family but has a little edge without too much kick. (You can usually get Black Opal from Wal-Mart and some Walgreens)
CoverGirl Queen Collection Into the Red - I’ve never been a red kind of gal but this color is not really a red in my eyes but more of a coral which is one of the hottest colors this season! (I’ve only seen this line in my Target but you can go on the CoverGirl’s website to find the closest store to you.)
MIlani 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss – Let me just say that these colors ROCK! Because they are glosses you can wear these for a hint of color that is not overpowering (I grab this brand from CVS but I hear you can also get them from some Wal-Marts). You can also layer these glosses as well to create your own look
Nail Polishes
Try out Sinful Colors Color Block Edition which has an array of nail polishes that can help add a pop of color. These are available at Walgreens for only $2 and with a nice top coat (try Sally Hansen’s Diamond Shine) they give OPI a run for their money!
Scarves
Simply adding a colorful, pattern scarf to your outfit can completely change your look of the day without much fuss. Try an infinity scarf (Old Navy) to really amp up the look!

The Bag
Every gal has to have an attention grabber and what better way to do that than with a yellow bag? You can rock this H&M bag with your outfits and the boldness of the color will always be a statement piece.
Belt It Out
I absolutely love a cute belt and this one from the Gap gives you a great neutral with a highlight of neon pink. Love it
Shades
Last but not least, grabbing a pair of shades with a colorful frame can add the hint of color without being overdone. Check out these cute sunglasses from Retro City Sunglasses:

I hope you enjoyed this piece & let me know what ways you add color to your wardrobe!
