I know I’ve been a little out of the loop but life happens! My son has started to teething something heavy so that means late nights, early mornings for me & the hubs But I couldn’t forget about my ladies participating in our great challenge So here ya go!
How many of us use essential oils in our daily hair agenda? I know that I’m getting more into using them on a daily basis but I needed to know which ones worked for my hair first. Check out some of the oils that I think may be beneficial for those participating in the challenge after listening to our hair goals:
- Tea Tree Oil – Now you all know that I love Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner & the FAB results I get from it, so I had to find out how using just the oil could benefit my hair. According to Aretha Smith’s article on website Live Strong tea tree oil purifies the scalp, moisturizes hair, & helps unblock hair follicles.
- Castor Oil – If anyone is familiar with Jenell from Kinky Curly Coily Me! website you know that she is a firm believer in using this oil to stimulate hair growth! I personally use this oil to help thicken my hair and to help re-grow my hair around my crown. Let me tell you it works!
- Coconut Oil- My girlfriends swear by this oil! I have tried a couple of times & let me tell you to be easy with it because it can weigh your hair down if used excessively. You can use this oil to massage on your scalp to cut down on dandruff.
Check out this great video by Urban Bush Babes explaining how to seal your ends. I thought this would be helpful to show how you can incorporate one of the above oils into your hair regimen as a sealer.
Do you use any of these oils or have some others that we can use as well? Please share with us Also I didn’t forget about the two winners from our first month of the challenge, time just got the best of me. But I will be announcing four challengers at the end of the month that will receive something AWESOME to help aide in taking better care of your hair! Remember you can only be in the drawing if you have responding to every post for this challenge; these can be found by using the drop down menu on right.
Talk to you soon!
