Product Review| Life Organics Curly Girl Line

Have you heard of Life Organics Curly Girl™ products? Well do I have a product review for you today♥ I reached out to Life Organics after reading over their website and we played e-mail tag for quite some time but I finally got in contact with the owner Zaneta Searles. This woman has a passion for the products her company produces like no other; she started making her own products because of her son’s eczema and then she branched off from skincare to haircare which is where Curly Girl™ was brought into existence. And my, oh my, am I happy that she did!

For the last 2½ weeks I have been using the vast variety of Curly Girl™ items that were sent to me & I have yet to have a qualm with any one of them. This right here….this stuff right here gal…is the REAL DEAL. Check out some of my highlights:

For my first go at styling with Curly Girl™ I used these products for a bantu knot out:

Curly Girl (TM) Detangling Conditioner, Herbal Hair Wash, Styling Custard

Now since I don’t normally use shampoo I was a little reluctant to give it a go but I’m glad I did! There was absolutely no drying affect & the smell was so refreshing. By now you should know that I love a good conditioner regardless of leave-in or rinse out just as long as it gets the job done; the detangling conditioner is FAB! The conditioner smells like a light jojoba oil (which is one of the ingredients) and is not super thick but not too thin either. I used this as a leave-in and then twisted & bantu knotted my hair (wet)with the silky custard. Listen, that silky custard fragrance is BANANAS (not really but it does smell good) and there is a minty feeling when applying it to your tresses. I did not have to use a lot of the custard at all so make sure to be easy when applying.

Once I rocked the bantu knot out for a day I wanted to try the products on blown out, flat twisted hair:

Life Organics Curly Girl Passionfruit Coconut Oil Serum & Moisturizing Creme (not shown Acai & Hibiscus Styling Milk)

I used the Passionfruit Coconut Oil Serum to blow my hair out and it took no time plus my hair was completely lightly blown out yet not heavy because of the serum. The serum smells just like old school passion fruit gum by Bubbalicious…yummy! The styling milk & moisturizing creme went on smooth without fail. I was able to continue to use these product repeatedly throughout the week without my hair feeling weighed down. I had fluffy hair all week!

Blow out results, flat twists, back view of take down & final front look

Then throughout the week I changed the look up using the same products:

Wavy Baby, Fro’d Out, Banana Clip Me & High Puff with Twisted Bangs

I ultimately am impressed with this product line! And I still haven’t tried all of the items that was sent to me; that will have to be done on another review :) So what do you think? Would you like an opportunity to try Life Organics Curly Girl™ products?
