So, I just got my box from Beauty Army…  and after I opened the box, I cancelled my subscription…

Here’s why:  It was not what I was expecting at all! I liked the fact that when you first sign up you have to take a quiz to determine what products work best for you.  Then after the quiz, your results come up on a different screen and you get to choose up to 6 sample products.  Also I think the communication above everything was great, from the conformation emails to the actually delivery of the box. But still my expectations were not met

It comes in a cute pink box with pink army fatigue, and it was delivered by the USPS. 

The products I picked were:  Divine Hydration Moisturizer from Fiafini Skin Care a collagen boost lipstick and wet lips gloss from Skinn.com Hothouse Flower eau da parfum from Ineke Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels from Skyn Iceland and a Foundation Primer and Serum from Emani Minerals 

(I will do a product review on the items listed once I have tested them out.)

Beauty Army is a $12 monthly subscription; the products that you receive you are able to purchase the full side items inside their on-line shop.  If I like some of the products maybe I’ll buy them…I’ll have to see though.  Another downfall is that you don’t receive discount codes for buying products that you have tested that is normally offered in some of the other boxes I’ve seen.

Maybe I will give them another chance at the beginning of the year?  Maybe my expectations were too high and I just got disappointed with it?  We shall see.  If you have used Beauty Army let me know what you thought about the service.
