Let’s talk the importance of having a very good skin care routine. I always get compliments on how my skin is always so dewy, flawless, and never a blemish on it. Let me tell you, it is hard work. But, this is what I do, to maintain a flawless face.
First, I use Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser.
I love, how this cleanser leave my face feeling really clean, fresh, and no buildup… I use it once a day. I normally do my skin care routine at night…
Next, I use my Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent.
OMG, I feel my pores closing when I use this. It has a strong smell, so I say if you use it, be careful. I love it though because it what I need after a day of wearing makeup, and feel that my skin is super smooth and clean.
The next two things I use 3 times a week. I am so in love with my St. Ives Apricot scrub.
I use this on a clean face to exfoliate. It’s really great to remove dry skin (which I get in the winter), and to just make you skin super fresh, soft, and glow. Then, I love to use my Neutrogena Clear Pore Mask. (You can use it as a cleanser, but the mask is WAY, better!!!!)
I am in love with how the mask smells, and I like how after 30 seconds, it is a tight pore sucking machine. I normally let the mask sit on about 30 minutes… (If you can tell, I am all about clear pores, and dewy skin. This mask does that…)
In the morning, I normally, just take my wash cloth and use warm water, to just get the nasties out of my eye.(Don’t act like you don’t get eye buggers… LOL!!!) For a moisturizer I love to use, Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer.
It has an SPF of 15 in it. It smells great, and a little goes a long way. That goes for any of the products used.
Now, that the outside is taken care of. It also works from the inside as well. Drinking plenty of water will also do the trick. I love eating fruits with a lot of water in them as well. Oh, and veggies. Working on the inside to, is really important. The saying is true “you are what you eat”!!! Also, I just started seeing a dermatologist who specialized in African-American skin… I just found out that I have eczema on my decolletage… So, I have been working on getting that in order… (And, I am safe to say, that it is…)
What is a typical skin care routine, that you follow? I would love to know what you do to get flawless skin.
Until next time♥…
Guess who’s going to CVS at lunch. Gotta get a handle on my skin!!
Did you go to CVS? I’m trying to tell you, this has changed my life… LOL!!!
