When I shampoo, my hair drys out much quicker than when I cowash. I now only shampoo when I want to wear my hair curly (wash n go). I NEVER only cowash my hair. I always cleanse my scalp first with a clarifier then cowash. You are right, if you just cowash only, youre basically rubbing in dirt.
